Do you ever find yourself sharing multiple pictures taken with your phone with others and thinking there should be an easier way to do this? Many times I don't even get the job done, because of the time involved. I do post photos to Facebook, but sometimes I want to share photos with people who aren't my Facebook friends or I don't feel that is the appropriate place to post the photos. Well, if you are like me then I just might have the perfect app for you and the best news is it is available for both Apple and Android. The app that I am talking about is PhotoCircle. Did I mention this app is FREE?
It is very simple to use and quick to get started. Download the app, register and create your first album. You can share with others who have the app just by putting your phones next to one another or if you aren't near the people you want to share an album with then send them an email. It's easy to use, you can access photos from your camera roll or you can take photos from within the app. Your album is only available to those in your circle.
This app would be great for any special event you have such as a family reunion, wedding, graduation, etc. Families would probably really enjoy sharing pictures using this app. You could create a "circle", send everyone attending a link, and then everyone in the circle who takes a picture, will automatically share them with everyone IN the circle!
I am not sure how many businesses could use this app on a regular basis unless they do a lot with photographs for publicity or archiving. This app might work well for a classroom to share photos of classroom events with parents and it might be a good way for parents, students and staff to share photographs for yearbooks, websites, newsletters, etc.
The one downside of this app is that there isn't any image editing features included (although that's not one of its intended purposes) but, I still think this is a very useful photo sharing app. Does anyone have another favorite out there?
